Ana Mosqueda

For as long as she can remember, her life has been connected to books: her parents were great readers and they had a seventies-style bookcase that Ana still treasures, with authors like Borges, Saer, Denevi, Asís, Mallea, Amado, García Márquez, and Vargas Llosa, as well as Henry James and Jane Austen. And of course, above all, Julio Cortázar. Ana completed the course of studies in Language and Literature and she specialized in Classical Culture, that is to say, in Greek and in Latin. After practicing as a teacher for a long time, she came back to Filo to enroll in the Edition course of studies. She is now giving classes of Style Correction there. Additionally, her interest in books went beyond texts and their grammatical complexities. She decided to enjoy them in their material forms and she dove into the social history of the written culture to understand how a text became a book in different ages and places.
